7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

•         Discussed updating the hall rental agreement for 2020.

•         Steve was going to get a bid to replace some hall lighting.

7:31 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer (absent), Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Roger Carfangia- Pistol (absent), Mike Ripley- Black Powder & Junior Rifle.

Treasurer’s Report: No report this month due to John being absent.

Bills and Communications:   Nothing to report due to John being absent.

Pop: Steve turned in $13.

Rental Committee Report: Peggy turned in $575 from rentals. Boy Scout Troop 33 will be using the hall Jan. 17, 18, 19.

Pistol Team:  Rodger was absent.  Steve turned in $110 for pistol.   22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team:  Winter league is halfway done.  Tom said the winter trap league banquet will be on February 29.  You may still come to shoot practice during the league.  It cost $3.50 per round of 25 targets.  Anyone is welcome to come and shoot. 

Black Powder:  Mike announced the primitive deer hunt will be the day after Christmas.  Attendees are to meet at the cabin.

Meat Shoot:  Mike took in $165, expenses $110, kept $16, turned in $39.  Meat shoots are on the 2^nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am.  (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike said that he currently has 8 kids shooting for junior rifle.  Shooting will be on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 pm and only cost $2.  Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest. 

Archery:  Nothing to report. 

Fun Indoor Shoot:  Dickie was absent.  They normally shoot every Monday 10 am-till shooting is done.  Doors open at 9 am.  Everyone is welcome.   .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize. 

Membership:  REMINDER – October thru February is time to renew your dues and key cards.  Brian took in $2,125, maintenance fund $275, general fund $1,850, key cards $150.  81 new members for 2019, 452 senior life/charter members, ? total club members.

Old Business:  All of the officer positions were nominated and voted to stay the same for 2020.  The BOD is still working towards applying for the small games of chance license.

New Business:  Brian Jesteadt asked if that Boy Scout Troop 33 could use the hall to stay in while performing some community service work at Jennings Environmental Center on January 17, 18, 19.  The membership in attendance voted to let Troop 33 use the club during those dates. 

Good of the Association:   The BOD wishes everyone to have a safe and happy holiday season.  Thank you for being part of the Moraine Conservation and Sportsman’s Association during the 2019 year.  Hope to see you all back in 2020.
